Meet Linda, the official socialite of the Stober Foundation and a key player in our community development. In addition to being a mother to two beautiful daughters, Dallas and Liberty, Linda is also a social entrepreneur and community leader. She has spent most of her life in Kelowna and has led by example, working diligently to make our community a better place for all.
Along with her husband, Ken, Linda has spearheaded several projects that help create safe places for members of our community, facilitate access to mental health supports, and provide programming to those dealing with substance abuse and addictions recovery.
In addition to her role in our foundation, Linda is the co-owner of Third Space Coffee, a socially innovative café that serves as a hub for community events and also raises funds that facilitate free clinical counselling for those who cannot afford it. She has also been instrumental in overseeing the development of the “Life Essentials” and “Life Transitions” programs, which have been implemented in social housing programs throughout Kelowna in order to supplement addiction recovery and return to community life skills.
When not in the office, Linda can often be found being a super mom to her amazing daughters, hiking, playing tennis, travelling, cooking, or trying to get through a round of golf. Her lust for life and passion to make our community a better place inspires us daily.
