Funding Portal Open for business

May 5, 2022

Attention all Canadian registered charities. The Stober Foundation is again accepting applications for project funding up until June 14th, 2022.

If you work for a charity or non-profit and are doing something amazing to make your community a better place, they want to hear from you. The Stober Foundation is urging for local charities to consider submitting a funding request through their website;

We recently sat down with the foundation’ Lead Philanthropist and Director, Keith Brewster, to learn more about what the Stober Foundation is all about and what areas the foundation is looking to focus on this year.

"Our philanthropic vision is to take a progressive, forward-thinking, and sustainable approach to our giving in support of innovative endeavours that seek to make our community a better place for all. At this juncture, we are looking to connect with and learn more about what our local charities are doing, and how to best empower them through grants and project funding”.

“Currently, we are open to a variety of core areas  including Community Development, Education, Faith, Health & Medicine, Humanitarianism, Mental Health, and Sports & Recreation to name just a few.

The Stober Foundation has purposefully kept their funding interests broad in hopes of attracting a new crop of high quality, highly effective charities that are capable of making a deep impact in the communities in which they serve.

“We are keen to partner with progressive charities looking to make a tangible impact in the world around us” said Brewster. We hope that in announcing this funding opportunity, that we not only hear from impactful charities, but also hear about the projects that they do and deliver best in hopes of maximizing our mutual impact”.

The Stober Foundation made their application process completely virtual and online, making the process easier than ever. They are looking forward to hearing (or reading) from local charities while attracting new charitable talent. So, if you’re working in the charity/non-profit sector please, consider submitting an application for project funding through the Stober Foundation today.
