We are thrilled to announce an exciting new partnership between our family foundation and the newly formed, and now operational, Child Advocacy Centre (CAC)! 

As a family, we are so inspired and proud of where the CAC has come from, and where it is going. What started as a dream to help provide support for children who were the victims of abuse (physically, emotionally, and socially) with little resources has since evolved into a world class centre for advocacy, care, and multi-faceted treatment for those in need and at risk. It will undoubtedly have a tremendous impact in our community and help countless people who aren’t in a position to help themselves. 

In case you didn’t know, the CAC has been designed to accommodate a team of highly-skilled professionals who will be empowered to collaborate on cases, take actions that prevent re-victimization, and support the child’s long-term well-being, as well as non-offending caregivers. Our goal is to provide a centre of leadership, promoting excellence in child abuse services, research, training and education – a collective community response to protecting children from abuse.

Key services of the CAC will include but are not limited to:

• Court Preparation
• Case Coordination and Review
• Counselling
• Community Education
• Professional Training for Social Workers, Medical Staff and Police
• Forensic Child Interviews
• Medical Evaluation
