Ken Stober is the newly appointed president of the Stober Foundation, succeeding his mother, Sandra, in 2019. Ken brings a new visionary approach to philanthropy that is sure to build upon the grace that has shaped the foundation to date. With over 25 years of experience working in a real estate development and property management, Ken now uses his business experience to maximize results in not-for-profit organizations.
Along with his wife, Linda, Ken developed and created Third Space Life Charity, a non-profit cafe, counselling centre and charity that all focus around mental health and reducing its stigma. This passion project was fuelled by seeing a significant lack of resources in our community in the early 2000s.
Since its inception, Third Space Charity has helped thousands of people in our community with free or subsidized clinical counselling services, created safe community space(s) for all, and provided access to various mental health resources and peer support programs for those who need it. Third Space Charity has since blossomed into a community leader and has allowed Ken to work with friends who share the same passion for helping others and to create a culture designed to bring wholeness into people’s lives.
When not in the office, Ken can often be found with his lovely wife Linda and their two amazing daughters. In his spare time Ken loves a good cappuccino, hiking, golfing, riding his motorcycle, and dreaming up ideas that aim to help people realize their full potential.
